QNAP Launches High-Speed TS-431X3 Quad-core NAS

QNAP® Systems Inc., a top computing, networking and storage solution innovator, today launched the quad-core 1.7 GHz TS-431X3 NAS. Featuring 10GbE SFP+ and 2.5GbE RJ45 connectivity, the TS-431X3 enables companies to deploy a high-speed network environment to meet data backup, retrieval, and virtualized storage needs.

Powered by a 4GB RAM (upgradable to 8 GB), and includes a 10GbE SFP+ interface to offer high bandwidth for data transmission that is intensive. Coupled with a QNAP QSW show change, users can construct a 10GbE network environment to savor increased transport rates and containerized software. Also comes with a 2.5GbE interface for low-latency document sharing and group collaboration. The TS-431X3 includes tool-less and lockable drive bays, simplifying drive setup and ensuring drives are both protected and secure.

Supporting snapshot technology and the HBS program facilitates backup to local, off-site and cloud storage, enabling users to come up with a well-rounded disaster recovery program. Notification Center enables administrators to control and track program and program event notifications from one program, whereas Security Counselor urges actions and preferences to enhance NAS security.

Surveillance Station permits for constructing a secure surveillance program, Qsync automatically synchronizes files between NAS, mobile devices and computers, QmailAgent enables centralized management of multiple email accounts, Qfiling simplifies file arrangement and Qsearch instantly finds desired documents. Users can also download companion mobile programs to access their NAS to boost work efficiency.
